EILC Reunion
On Monday we had a reunion for the Erasmus Intensive Language Course that I was on back in August. Organised by Mieke, it was mostly the students still in Helsinki that turned up although we also had Marija from Kemi in Lapland and Rachel who was visiting from Ireland.
Very civilisedWe met up outside Helsinki station and spent a while wandering around the city wondering where to go, just like old times. Eventually we settled on a nice little coffee bar on Esplanade.
Rachel (foreground) was visiting from Ireland for a weekMany of the other students I had seen often anyway, with the exception of Marija and Rachel who I hadn't seen since the course and Filip who somehow manages to hide away in Otaniemi.
It was good to see everyone again, although the meeting was perhaps a bit short. Hopefully we'll do it again sometime!

Great blog - loved your pictures and post of the ice bar. Kind of reminds me of the Quebec Winter Carnival (Canada).
thanxs for the pics from the reuion. maybe we could do it again just before christmas, before everybody leaves back home (or heading direction lapland:))
